Automotive Technician - Experienced

ZCS Auto Restoration is looking for an experienced automotive technician with mechanical and electrical experience to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • This person will work on all parts of Classic Car restoration projects, including assembly, disassembly, fabrication, electrical & mechanical diagnostics/troubleshooting. 
  • Experience in Trouble-shooting & diagnosing issues 
  • Will work both independently and in team environments. 
  • Ability to approach problems thinking outside-the-box - Customization is common!

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • 5+ years of automotive experience, preferable in classic cars 
  • Experience with electrical & mechanical diagnostics/troubleshooting 
  • Independent and Experienced 
  • Must be self-motivated problem solver 
  • Experience working on many different older vehicles 
  • Related experience in assembly, disassembly, fabrication 
  • Strong Attention to detail 
  • Capable of producing excellent quality work as customization is common 
  • Clean Driving Record and able to pass a background check  

Auto Body Apprentice

ZCS Auto Restoration is looking for a self-starter to assist our team in the paint & body department working with vintage vehicles. This is a hands on position, where you will be working on customer vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with our Paint and Body team on classic car restorations 
  • Learning how to properly repair body damage, rust repair and body modifications 
  • Helping prepare old vehicles for paint 
  • Learning all aspects of the classic car restoration process 
  • Working with a team and assisting other team members on solving challenges on a classic vehicle

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • 1-2 years basic auto body experience  
  • Must be a self-motivated problem solver with initiative  
  • Efficient and very productive  
  • Desire to learn needed  
  • Professional appearance, strong work ethic and positive attitude a must  
  • Team Player – works and communicates well with others  
  • Clean Driving Record and able to pass a background check  
  • Welding experience is a plus

Automotive Technician - Entry Level

ZCS Auto Restoration is looking for an entry-level automotive technician with mechanical and electrical knowledge to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with all aspects of disassembly and assembly on classic car restorations 
  • Needs a basic understanding of all vehicle systems including Brakes, Fuel systems, Suspension, Engines, Electrical, etc... 
  • Will be learning all aspects of the classic car restoration process 
  • Self-motivated and self starter - working individually is common 
  • Assisting other team members on solving challenges on a classic vehicle

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • 1-2 years basic automotive experience 
  • Must be a self-motivated problem solver with initiative 
  • Efficient and very productive 
  • Desire to learn needed 
  • Professional appearance, strong work ethic and positive attitude a must 
  • Team Player – works and communicates well with others 
  • Clean Driving Record and able to pass a background check 
  • Communication is KEY!
